Pet care experience
I have taken care of personal and friends dog since the age of 8 (with help of family). I have trained my dogs basic skills and some advanced skills such as walking without leash and eating food on command. I am really patient with puppies and will tire out any energetic dogs will endless tug-of-war and long walks.

I am currently renting and unfortunately cannot have a pet. However, I am very close to parks and trails that I can take your dog to if you would like a dog sitter or walker when needed.

If I can get a quick summary of your dog's likes and dislikes (e.g., what makes him nervous/excited) so the dog and I can have the best possible experience. I would not want to unknowingly make your dog uncomfortable during my time with him/her. I am biased to larger dog breeds, but all dogs are awesome. I have had mixed dogs pretty much my whole life so do not really care for specific breeds (except German Shepherds...they are my favorite).
A typical day
I have more fun with tug-or-war than the dogs do probably, so I am very open to long hours of play to tire out your pup. Whether inside or outside, I will play with your dog with whatever activity he/she enjoys best. I am a fan of trail walks and would love to take your dog if one is near by (and if it is okay with you). I will give complimentary tick checks as well just to be safe.

Availability
Currently working full time at Fort Detrick doing biomedical research. I am typically there from 09:00 to 18:00. I am free nearly every weekend, and during the week I can walk/pop-in to see your pet before or after work. I am more than willing to be flexible with your conditions after discussing more about your pet and his/her needs.
