My name is Josh Stoodley, and I've lived with a dog most of my life. When I was young, we had a Sheltie named Hot Dog, and then we had two Bichon/Shih Tzu's. After that, we looked after Chester, a Maltese, in his old age and now have two more dogs: Zeus, a Rottweiler mix and Ginger, a Jack Russell mix. I'm thirty-two, so I've had those dogs for all of my adult life. I also took care of our friend Tanya's dog Cooper when she went on vacation. I live near a park and the Glenmore Reservoir and we have a backyard that any dog who lives with us can run around in to their heart's content. Our usual walk around the Reservoir is five kilometres total and there's a lot of open space to play around in. There are only two restrictions: one, I can't drive, so the dog's have to be picked up and dropped off by their owners. Two, our dogs sometimes gets aggressive around other dogs, so we need to introduce them to any dog that visits to keep incidents to a minimum. I also need a minimum forty-eight hours notice for any new dogs.
