Across a variety of work settings, my greatest assets have always been my attention to detail and passion for making a connection. I'll treat my time caring for your furry friends like any other job... because, well, it is! First and foremost, I will prioritize your pet's safety and comfort, following all your directions closely and reaching out in the case of any doubts or concerns. I'll also strive to form a bond with your pet, learning their unique quirks and personalities so that they feel comfortable in my care. And of course, I'll send you plenty of updates and pictures of your pal during my visit - as a cat dad myself I always appreciate the extra reassurance that myy babies are in good hands!

Josh is a wonderful caregiver to our 2 cats. I have also seen him be a wonderful caregiver to the 2 dogs he grew up with, as well as my childhood dog. He is a caring, gentle, and devoted caregiver who truly takes the time to build trust with animals, even skittish ones. He takes the time to give love and attention to his animals. I have also seen him serve as a pet sitter in the past and he is diligent in his providing updates when requested, he takes note of any changes in behavior, and he reads instructions very carefully to follow the instructions left for him.

A typical day
With the dogs in my life, I love to give belly rubs and big hugs -- but I know not all dogs (or cats) are created equally, especially when meeting a new person. That's why it's important I ask you what activities your pet likes best, and what their usual routine is. For dogs, a general idea of their usual walk route will go a long way, so I can be sure there are some elements of routine and familiarity during my visit.

Availability
I work full-time at a school-based job, limiting my current availability to weekday evenings and weekends. Once summer arrives, however, I will be available anytime to care for your furry friends. My availability from mid-June to mid-August is wide open, and I will be diligent in updating my Rover calendar as soon as there are any changes.
