I'm a nighttime musician and daytime dog pal. I own a Shepard/Collie mix that's about 2yrs old. She's a super sweet & social rescue from the Austin Humane Society. I grew up in a dog friendly home and have had lots pups throughout my life. I practice redirection and positive reinforcement with treats to shape behavior. I'm still learning new methods everyday with our current rascal. She's got lots of energy and we've been training/conditioning on a variety of scenarios including but not limited to: jumping, leash pulling, car anxiety & separation anxiety. Its hard work sometimes but there's no better feeling than the excitement of a pet eager to see you walk in the door. Giving her a home brings us so much fulfillment. And while the experience is rewarding, it can require some help. I'd like to assist others with this! I can provide dog walking, pet sitting, house sitting, and drop in visits.
