100% work from home means your best friend is almost never left alone. And when they are, our dogs are put in separate rooms or in their kennels so your guy / gal has the freedom and luxury of the house to themselves. I do this because I absolutely love dogs...usually more than humans. I think every dog deserves the comforts and luxuries of a home and I look forward to giving your best friends the care and attention they deserve. My girlfriend and I both work from home and are around during major holidays. If you need someone to help your dog get through the emotional trauma of thinking you have forsaken them forever while you are on vacation counting the days until you see them again....we're your people! Feel free to reach out with any questions. We usually interrogate anyone we consider leaving our dogs with so we are more than willing to help you feel at ease. Also, the photos of our dogs inside are from the townhome we lived in while in VA. I will include photos of our Arvada fenced in home very soon! Thanks, Josh

Karen and Josh took amazing care of my pup. This was the first time I ever had to leave her for anything more than a night and I got the best gift you can get on vacation — to not worry that my dog was happy and in good hands. They made her part of their pack and she now has long-term friends. Most importantly, they are excellent communicators, super conscientious, and made sure my dog was safe and well cared for. I'm so grateful I found them.
Josh is a reliable and trustworthy dog sitter. He has watched our dog Hank multiple times while we were away and does a great job. He’s communicative, responsive and seems to really care for our dog. We have a high energy dog and he takes him on long walks and to the dog park to get his energy out. Will use again and would recommend!
Really excited to have found someone we trust to watch our large pup when we’re out of town. Already rebooked for another time! Karen and Josh were awesome at sending pictures and keeping us up to date on how his stay was going.
Josh and his wife Karen are amazing! They love on and take care of your dogs as if they were their own. We were away for two weeks in Europe, and not only did I receive adorable pictures of my happy and content dogs every day, I had the peace of mind knowing they were being really well-taken care of and loved, in a safe and super dog-friendly home. Can't do much better than this!!

In my home, we have a fenced in back yard. The gate is difficult to open so they are secure. We always make sure there are no obstacles or things that visiting dogs can get into...like unsecured food. I always send pics of our guest dogs lounging about wherever they decided to go. I also have a dog gate that can restrict them to the hallway so if a package arrives and I need to answer the door, there is no risk of them bolting out. I follow the same guidelines in your home, while taking care not to make a mess of YOUR space. I am very sensitive to the idea that you are trusting a stranger in your home and treat it like my own while I am there. I lead a boring, regimented life so I have no plans other than to watch your dog(s), your tv, and sleep.

Health: Are they on any meds or special diet? Who is their vet? Any conditions I should know about; i.e. an old leg injury that might make longer walks difficult. Routine: When are they fed? How often do they go out? When is their favorite show on (kidding). Temperament: How are they on the leash? Are there any breeds or size dogs they don't get along with? How do they like to play?
A typical day
My main concern is always your dog's safety. But right behind that is a fun, enjoyable stay. We play with them in the yard, go on walk in the local park (great easy and accessible trails), and let them lounge all over us on the beds and couches (unless you don't want them to). I avoid dog parks with other people's dogs because in my opinion, too much can go wrong there and I really am primarily concerned with your pet's safety above all else. My goal is for them to go home safe, happy, and exhausted.

Availability
Again, I'm 100% work from home so any dogs I watch are part of my daily routine. I'm able to adjust however I need to accommodate your dog's routine. I'll usually take breaks myself to go outside and get some fresh air and always let my dogs out for a pee / poo break as well.
