Josh is amazing with pets especially dogs, he has his own pets himself which are hamsters they mostly live for two years but he always manages to keep them around for 3 cause he genuinely has a passion for animals, i have a dog myself called “gizmo” and he absolutely adores him you can always see them cuddling each other and just having the time of there life and every time he comes round gizmos tail just goes crazy and runs over to josh for cuddles to say he missed him. If you want your dog to have a best friend i would definitely let josh do it
