Pet care experience
I’ve cared for many types of animals since the age of 8. I am a vegan of 6 years and at my best when I’m spending time with animals! As of now have a mutt named mando who I absolutely cherish. I have experience with walking and playing with all sizes and personalities of dogs.I understand they are all different and complex individuals. I miss meeting dogs every day at my pet store job I had to quit unfortunately since I moved to college.

I prefer walking dogs on harnesses but I can work with whatever their preferred method is. I am always vigilant to avoid pets eating unwanted objects and I have plenty of experience removing these objects from mouths gently. I will follow any instructions asked of me carefully when caring for pets.

I like to know about any special needs, health conditions, or aggression in dogs. Dogs dislikes are important to know in order to avoid them when at all possible. Anything that motivates your dog such as treats or a toy is good to have on hand in case I need to redirect their attention.
A typical day
I’m new to the area as this is my first term in college but I’d love to get to know the area by walking dogs. Typically I like to walk my own dog in the woods or in an open field or dog park so we can play fetch. I take my dog swimming at local ponds. I can promise lots of attention and love to any dog I come across.

I miss my dog every day in college. I travel home when I can to see him so we can play in the yard and hang out with my chickens.
