Pet care experience
I have been around animals my entire life! Growing up I’ve helped my family raise many animals. We’ve had 5 dogs, 3 rats, a guinea pig, a rabbit, a tortoise, and more cats than you could count! I’ve since moved away from home because my husband is in the military. I figured that since I love animals, offering services on Rover would be a perfect fit! Although I’ve been around cats my whole life, I do not offer cat boarding because I am allergic unfortunately.

Took great care of our dogs!
Josephine was kind and patient with my dog Charlie. It was my first time boarding Charlie and he was not very cooperative. Josephine handled him like the pro she is and gave me twice daily updates on Charlie. I hope to board with her again if she has me. 😀
Excellent environment and care, inside and outside. Fun play time with Josephine’s dog.

I have a fenced, private yard with plenty of room to safely run around. We have a medium sized lab mix who is very sweet and friendly, and is crate trained in case our pets don’t get along. I am also very close to the levee in case your pet requires periodic walking.

Let me know if your dog has a tendency to jump up on people, or if they don’t do well with people they haven’t been introduced to previously. We live with a couple of other people in our home that may be in or out irregularly, and I’d like to give them a heads up if we are pet-sitting.
A typical day
Because we have a large enough back yard, I love letting dogs run freely. I also really enjoy training new tricks and building a bond with pets.
