Pet care experience
I’ve always had a dogs growing up, but I don’t currently have one. Let me treat your pup as my own. Whether it be 30 minutes or a nightly stay, I will make sure your dog feels like they are on a mini vacation while they are with me. I am happy to take your dog for long walks or play fetch in my fenced in front yard. I can accommodate small to medium size dogs, as those are the kinds I have most experience with. I can handle low energy dogs that love to relax on the couch or high energy dogs that need to entertained. I will always be patient and kind with your puppy and do my best to make their time with me as enjoyable as possible. Things to know about me: -I work full time in the city but I have a flexible schedule and am available most nights. -I am a true animal lover at heart, no matter shape or size(checkout my gallery) -I am a vegetarian -I am adventurous, compassionate, and understanding -I love riding bikes, I own two -I love taking pictures, I have a small camera collection -I have 2 small pets; a gargoyle gecko; and one small fish tank -I am open to watching other small pets as well as your dog! Things to know about my apartment: -It is a typically quiet building; meaning I prefer not to have dogs that are very talkative -I have roommates, but my room and the living room is open to your dog. -Has hardwood floors so I am not worried about potty accidents

Josephine is responsive and responsible. She took good care of my baby!
I am happy to write this review for Josephine as she took very good care of my fur baby! She sent photos daily of him in various states, outside on walks, curled up relaxing and even while he slept. She was also so very understanding of my delayed flight, which caused an almost a 2 hour delay in me picking him up. It was apparent my dog was well taken care of as his temperament was relaxed and easy and he seemed happy overall. I would refer her to anyone for their dog sitting needs and would definitely use her again in the future for mine! Thank you Josephine!
Josephine is an excellent dog sitter. Kismo was very happy when we picked him up. She was able to be flexible when our flight was delayed and provided consistent communication with us. She provided pictures daily of our dog on walks and even just being comfortable on her couch. I would recommend her as a responsible and excellent sitter. Glad to have found Josephine because sometimes it’s hard finding a good sitter. Thank you!
This was Snowy’s second visit with Josephine. When Snowy is happy he jumps and twirls and when I picked him up this evening from Josephine, he jumped and twirled.

I’m open to any breed as long as they are a generally friendly dog. I prefer a dog that is house trained and knows to go outside, or is crate trained and can wait to go when on a walk. I also have puppy pads if they absolutely need to go inside and know to use them. I would also prefer a dog that is not destructive to furniture. Before you choose me I would love a short description of your dog, both physical and behavior wise, as this will help me prepare and know what to expect. I would rather have honesty about any bad habits your dog has, because that doesn’t necessarily mean I won’t take them on. Let’s set up a meet and greet to really get to know each other!
A typical day
What we will do: -Walks in Branch Brook Park -Playtime in a fenced in courtyard -Ear scratches and belly rubs -Lots of candid photos -I can also brush or bathe your dog -I can also dedicate time to practicing tricks if you’ve already started that process, or I can try teaching some simple tricks like “shake/paw” “sit” or “stay” no promises though!
