Joseph was awesome! We had a last-minutexhange in plans (day before event) and were scrambling to find someone to care for our boy Charlie because we couldn't bring him, and we reached out to Joseph through Rover. He couldn't have been more warm and accommodating. He greeted us with a big smile, and I could tell right away that Joseph was a real caretaker. Charlie got along great with Joseph's two dogs- he sent us pictures of the 3 dogs getting to know each other, which really put us at ease. We have only had Charlie for 8 months, so I can be protective, but he had a great time. I highly recommend Joseph, and we'll definitely be counting on his help again soon, and often!

Joe is what I call an "angel person". He is by far the kindest, most empathetic, most compassionate boss I have ever had. I am a visual artist and music writer and worked for Joe at his amazing bike shop for 2 1/2 years. He gave me endless opportunities to be creative within the shop, from drawing wall murals to co-hosting his podcast. His patience and endless encouragement meant more to me than I can possibly express and I am so proud to call him a friend. I watched Joe turn two feral cats who'd literally lived at a junkyard into affectionate pets. They lived at the bike shop and eventually moved into Joe's home aka their forever home. His compassion turned these skittish, scared cats into beautiful, loving friends :) I was so impressed at how, when he brought them home to his two dogs and existing cat, he was so careful and skillful about introducing them to the brood. Joe is a true animal lover and straight-up awesome!
