Hi there! My name is Joe and I am a professional dog walker and pet sitter with over 30 years of experience caring for animals. I am a proud father of two beautiful daughters and have been happily married since 2008. I currently have two dogs, Mia Fuzz and Rusty, as well as four cats named Max, Julian, Auggie, and Whinnie. As an animal lover, I understand how important it is to provide the best care for your furry friends. Joe is wonderful. Very friendly and great with our dog. You can tell he is passionate about your pet and taking good care of them.
Joe (& Heather) were great! We contacted him very last minute when other plans fell through. Contacted him Saturday, they came out for a meet & greet Sunday & filled our care needs on Monday. We were very pleased that he had Heather come with him— we have Rottweiler/ Newfoundland crosses that weigh in at 130+ & 115+ and sometimes can be like trying to walk a freight train on a leash. Our female tends to be more reticent, especially towards men, but she immediately went right to him and both dogs were absolutely in love at first sight. Even my super skittish & shy old cat that hides from most people came out for them (it helped that it was here dinner time ?) We will definitely be calling on him again!!

Additionally, I am able to crate someone's dog if needed, providing a safe and comfortable space for them to rest. I understand that some dogs require special care, which is why I am able to administer medicines and provide basic grooming such as bathing. Before booking I would love to know any and all medical conditions your animal may have. Your animals temperament and normal behavior. Last but not least any feeding schedule or instructions I should know.
A typical day
You can expect your furry friend to have a fun and safe experience. Your dog will be supervised at all times and will have plenty of opportunities to socialize and play with other dogs. I live directly next to the Portage bikeway so walks are a daily thing for both of my dogs and any fury friends they may have visiting. We also occasionally visit some of nature preserves located around the Kalamazoo/Portage area. I take the safety and well-being of your dog seriously, so you can trust that they will be in good hands.
