Ever since I started walking and boarding dogs fall of 2017, it has felt like a hole in my heart has been filled. I’ve never owned a dog, and still don’t, so being able to hang out with pups brings a smile to my face every day. As a certified Associate Safety Professional, safety is always a top priority when I’m watching any dog, cat, or critter. When we go for walks, they are always on a leash and if I see another dog, we cross the street to avoid any potential incidents. I like to play a little fetch inside, when appropriate, and always love to cuddle with any pup. I find I have a certain calm, yet assertive energy with most pets, which helps them to behave while they’re at my house or on a walk. I’ll let them sleep and hang out almost anywhere in my house (furniture, bed, etc.) but respect owners requests and will not encourage it if they aren’t allowed to at home. Although I live in a row house, there are some great green spaces nearby, which we typically hit on our walks. I have a deep love and respect for animals, and promise to treat your pet(s) with the utmost kindness.
