Hi! We’re Joe and Glenn! We live in midtown Toronto with our our 4 year old, 4lb, chihuahua named Charlie. Charlie isn’t your typical chihuahua - she loves to sleep the days away and can rarely be heard making a sound. That’s right - a chihuahua that doesn’t bark (unless there’s a strange knock at the door, of course)! She loves cuddling with us on the couch any chance she gets which is most evenings and on our days off. Charlie’s pretty lazy and little phases her. She doesn’t mind when other dogs sniff her out of curiosity, but that doesn’t mean she wants to play. Quite the opposite actually - she’s not at all interested in other dogs and does becomes nervous around the ones that aggressively or continuously try to engage with her. She’s shared space with other dogs in the past and we’ve never encountered any issues due to matching personalities. Aside from caring for Charlie, our pet care experience extends to the dogs (and one cat!) of our friends. Some were elderly and experiencing health issues, others were as young as 1 year old. All were taken care of by following detailed instructions from their owners and by providing a whole lot of love. Our building is filled with dogs and is very pet friendly. There’s even a large green area behind our place where dogs can always be found running around, playing and/or doing their business. Charlie, may be small but, rest assured, we love dogs of all sizes. One of us is off on weekends; the other has two weekdays off (usually Tuesday and Thursday). One of us works a regular 8AM-4PM and other other 2PM-9PM so, even on those days we both work, Charlie is never alone for long. Two things we can promise you: your dog will receive lots of love while in our care and you’ll be able to enjoy some piece of mind knowing they’re woth two responsible and caring dog lovers.
