WFH dog love and care! 🐶❤️
Pet care experience
Hello, I'm Josefina. I can also be reached at @sitdoggy23, where I post my IG and boarding/walking adventures. Prior to dog sitting, my pet care experience includes fostering rescues with Wonder Dog Rescue, Grateful Dogs Rescue and the SF/SPCA shelter. I also have experience as a volunteer dog walker at the SF/SPCA. I have experience working with dogs with a wide range of issues including: seniors, dogs with medical issues, including trauma and abuse/neglect. I have a special love for my work with fostering rescues, as well as walking shelter dogs. It’s an honor to have helped save the lives of many, many dogs. I currently work from home, giving the opportunity to provide individualized time to all dog clients. Sitting for one dog at a time. We are in Daly City, next to the SF boarder and a short 15 min ride to SFO. Great plus! I have two small children—ages 6 and 8. Our kids love dogs and are good with all types of dogs. Your dog must be good with kids—no exceptions when boarding.
Reviews
Josefina was great with our mini labradoodle! Very good communication and followed all instructions. I would definitely recommend her!
Josefina and her family took great care of our pup for a quick one day stay! Greatly appreciate how detail-oriented she was about his care.
Helped us out last minute. So kind. Wonderful communication. Took pup on a nice long walk. Very grateful!
Josefina and her family hosted our girl, Molly for a week. Five stars for her stay. Josefina is responsible, trust worthy, and communicative. We received daily updates and knew Molly was in great hands while we traveled to the east coast. We would definitely book with Josefina again. She really saved our butts when our other sitter had to cancel two weeks before we departed. She accommodated a meet and greet to make sure it would be a good fit for everyone. Thank you Josefina!!! Knowing Molly was with you brought us a lot of comfort and allowed us to enjoy our trip with family.

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is our highest priority with two small children at home. We are fully COVID vaccinated at home. I prefer crate trained dogs. I have both a small and medium-sized crate and can be used as a back-up. The crate would be used at bedtime, or for short periods when I leave the home. Doggy beds are also welcomed. For dogs who have a history of separation anxiety, I find crates to be a helpful tool to promote a calm and peaceful environment. Feel free to book a trial run with me too. I look forward to hearing from you.

Information Josefina G. would like to know about your pet
New clients: I use a google form/questionnaire for new boarders. I ask that all new clients fill out the form, so I can get to know your dog before the meet and greet, and before the stay. This form is detailed, but it includes necessary info to ensure the safety and well-being of your dog. I will refer to the form often! I will send this form to you, or you can copy paste the link: https://forms.gle/QDSus4SQ3if4P5Gv5
A typical day
2-3 walks/day and play time. Trips to the park, and exercise around the neighborhood. We love to go for hikes on the weekend, playgrounds with the kids or the beach. TLC and lots of love. Enjoying the sunshine. Companionship while working from home, with direct access to the backyard.

Availability
**I try to schedule meet and greets for new client boardings, schedule permitting. We can do in-person or virtual meetings. Drop-off and pick-up times are usually flexible. I try to accommodate your schedule as much as possible. Preferred times: 9am-8pm, any time over would need to move to the next day. I work remotely at home. When I do head out, it would be for about an hour or two at the most Monday-Friday. At times, the duration can last 2-4 hours--on rare occasions. During the week, I can provide potty breaks often, with full access to the backyard. On weekends, potty breaks might be a bit longer.
