Pet care experience
I live in the Petworth area in DC. I have my own car so I’m open to walking and sitting in a lot of neighborhoods. I work odd hours and do a lot of freelance work so I often have free time during the day. Besides owning dogs since I was a little kid, I’ve dog sat for friends and family all my life. I grew up with a house full of animals: birds, fish, hamsters, dogs, cats and my family has always treated animals as part of the family. I’ve walked and sat 9 week old puppies, 15 year old dogs with challenging medical needs, high anxiety dogs, reactive dogs, dogs that aren’t house trained, and everything in between. I love them all very, very much.

Jose was absolutely awesome with my dog, Kellan. He kept me updated on everything, sent pictures and handled Kellan's first time away from home wonderfully. Will definitely be using him again!
Jose, was a conscientious, caring sitter. He was very responsive and made himself available when almost no one else was available. Nice apartment and close to a dog park and Meridian Hill park.
Polly had a lovely stay again with Jose and we got lots of pictures of her playing at the dog park even though it was a short 1 night stay. Jose was great with a quick response and last minute booking, thanks again!
Jose was great. He was clearly very concerned about Lola, who is an older dog; he texted me about her medications and whether he should adjust her food. He texted me some pictures of her during her 3-night day to assure me that she was doing well, and I am very confident that he took great care of her; I would use him again in a second. Thanks, Jose!

Also, any special concerns or extra attention needed should definitely be explained before so that I can make sure your pup has the best time possible!

It would probably in the surrounding area of the dog’s home. I can’t do boarding. I would make sure to find out how the dog is around people and other dogs and where the owner would like the dog to be walked.
