Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of 4-5 smaller dogs at home since I was a kid. I also frequently housesit a couple of energetic and strong pit bulls for my sister’s family. I LOVE getting to know each animal’s personality and learn how they want to play or be loved on. Friendly and gentle dogs are wonderful but I also love the big playful ones who like to wrestle.

José is so awesome and took such great care of our two pups while we were away at a wedding! We really appreciated all the awesome photos and updates. José was an excellent communicator and took wonderful care of our house and of Sancho and Remy. We could tell they were getting lots of love while we were gone. We were also really grateful José took them on walks because they can be a little bit of a handful on leash. We will definitely be asking José for help again in the future, highly recommended! Jose was recommended to us by one of our regulars who wasn't available, and we have been blown away. Cleo has had so many adventures while we were gone. Walking with other pups, joining him on drives, and just generally living life. His updates are incredible and consistent. He is also very kind and has gone above and beyond to help us out and extend his stay during a difficult time for our family. We will absolutely be booking with him again!

A typical day
I’m a gentleman so I will first greet them and shake their paw. I enjoy starting with high energy activity such as running around at the dog park, playing fetch, or tug of war. Then, we enjoy a rest and maybe a snack (if it’s allowed). At home, they get love and attention when they seek it or I let them chew on their toys. I like having music playing and in my experience they enjoy winding down that way.

I work part time. I have a very flexible schedule and am able to work from home most days so booking shouldn’t be a problem with a couple days notice.
