Pet care experience
I consider myself a dog lover since I was a kid! I grew up with two dogs and have been dogsitting for three years now. My wife and I have recently adopted a lovely, very friendly Chihuahua, his name is Domingo and he’s 3months old. We also frequently dog sit for our neighbors and people in our building - from puppies to senior dogs (small-medium size only).

Jose & Priscila treated my elderly pug Beefy as well as I could have hoped for. He's 15 deaf and losing his vision, so he's not the easiest dog to care for. They made sure he got his medicated drops and several walks a day. They also have the cutest little puppy Domingo who gets along well with Beefy. I'd happily have Jose & Priscila take care of my little guy again!
Jose and Priscila have watched my dog Zailey several times over the past year. Zailey took to both of them when we first met at our meet and greet. They are very reliable and attentive to Zailey. I know Zailey is in good hands when they are watching her. They send daily pictures of Zailey and thier adventures with her. I would absolutely recommend them to watch your pet, you will not be disappointed!
My Cavapoo Riley was like a kid to me and I trusted Jose completely to watch him while I traveled frequently for work. Riley was an older dog with health problems who needed a lot of extra attention, and Jose was always willing and able to provide the special care Riley needed while I was away. Jose was very good about checking in to let me know how Riley was doing by sending pictures and updates, which really helped put me at ease. Jose is a responsible, compassionate and kind person and I highly recommend him as a pet caregiver!
Jose is absolutely fantastic with dogs! Full transparency: I'm married to Jose, so I'm definitely biased in my review. That said - when we got together, I knew Jose was a dog person. But only after I saw him interacting with his sister's dog did I realize how good he is with dogs. He will sing to your dog, dance with your dog, play with your dog, and cuddle with your dog! We've dog-sat multiple dogs for our neighbors and Jose has such a great way with them. Dogs love him and he definitely reciprocates with lots of care, love, and pets!

We generally care for small and medium size dogs since we can accommodate those more easily in our apartment. We live close to Lady Bird Lake and multiple parks for ideal dog walking adventures and sniffaris :)

A typical day
I really enjoy playing and cuddling with the pups I dogsit for. We go for walks around the park or lake nearby and throw the ball outside (for off-leash dogs). I like brushing the dogs, and leaving them nice and clean and spoiled!

I'm currently searching for a job and decided to join Rover as a dogsitter in the meantime. As result, my schedule is extremely flexible throughout the whole week. If you need someone to take care of your doggo, please reach out and I'll be there.
