Pet care experience
I love love love dogs. Unfortunately, now that I live at a rental property while I complete my graduate studies, I cannot have any of my own. Now that I am searching for a part-time job, this was my first option, as I will also benefit from the interactions with the dogs. I have experience with many kinds of dogs. Indeed, I was lucky to grow up in the company of dogs as small as a shih-tzu and as large as a Boxer. I have also had the pleasure of pet-sitting for multiple friends, including chihuahuas, boxers, Puerto Rican mutts, and an Australian Shepard. I’m looking forward to meet more furry friends.

When pet-sitting I always have dogs outside their kennel and give them lots of attention. Even if working remotely, I do enjoy them being by my side and to pet then as much as they want. I currently do not own a dog, so I will be dedicating all my attention to yours.

Do share with me any information you think would be useful for me to know, including personality and behavior. Breeds are generally not an issue. I can petsit and walk small or large dogs; my own family dogs are a shih-tzu and a Boxer (75lbs).
A typical day
I love to give attention to the dogs. Even if working remotely, I will be consistently petting the dog and engaging with them (if the dog reciprocates). With regards to walks, I absolutely love the park in Carquinez near the Bull Valley Staging Area. Gorgeous views and always some furry friends in their walk as well. So, if nearby, will take the dog there.

Availability
I’m currently pursuing my PhD at UC Berkeley. I am working on campus 3-days a week, and working remote the rest of the time. My work is very flexible, and can accommodate short walks, and also day or night care.
