Hi, my name is Jose, and I’d love the opportunity to show you why I’ve been called the “dog whisperer.” When your dog is with me, you can rest easy knowing that your dog is in good hands. I’ve been trained as a Veterinary Assistant, graduating 4 years ago from Carrington College. Since then, I’ve worked in many Veterinary clinics and have over seven years of dog sitting experience. I also took a course on behavioral dog training and can teach your dog behavioral skills, if requested. Beyond my formal training and experience –taking care of dogs is my passion. When your dog is with me, he/she will be treated like family, and your dog’s safety, health, and happiness will always be my top priorities.

José is absolutely great! Kingston was a very happy boy, well fed and loved. He's a very tired puppy tonight, he had so much fun playing with José and his dogs! Close to us, affordable, easy to get in contact with, clean home, all good things to note. We are super thankful and had a great experience! We will be using José again!!
Jose is a very responsible pet sitter. He has lots of experience working in a veterinary clinic, so knows what to watch for if your pet is ill. He is very gentle, and the dogs and cats love him! We have several special needs critters that need medication, and I trust Jose to give the medication on time, and at the correct dose. I would recommend hiring Jose as your petsitter!
Jose has taken care of my dog for many years and there is no one that I would trust more to give my dog the love and care that Jose provides. Jose is the kindest, most responsible and dependable dog caregiver! He has an innate ability to understand a dog's needs and is able to communicate calmness with all dogs. My dog had come from an abusive background and was very mistrusting of humans but she related to, trusted and loved Jose! I highly recommend Jose as a dog caregiver. I would like to know your dog's temperament, socialization preferences, food preferences, vaccine history/information, and if s/he needs to be fed separately. Also it is helpful to know what your preferences are as well - can your dog sit/sleep on a couch? bed? Can s/he have any treats? I have no breed preferences, but require that your dog be on flea medication.
A typical day
We would go on longer walks during the summer and shorter walks in the winter, depending on the temperature (as the cold may hurt the dog's paw pads). Other activities, which are dependent on the time of year and your dog's social skills, may include going swimming at the lake, hiking or playing at the dog park.
