Pet care experience
Through the course of my entire life, I have always had pets in my home. Ranging from hounds, mixed breeds of all sizes as well as cats. I understand what it takes to keep them safe and happy. I also own a horse (off property) and have a clear understanding of the needs and proper care of all my four legged friends.

Jorie was amazing taking care of my pug Cruze! She was very communicative and sent me photos of Cruze enjoying her place. It was clear upon pick up that Cruze had a great time and I would definitely book Jorie again!
Jorie has the biggest heart … ESPECIALLY when it comes to animals! Her passion is riding horses and helping out (voluntarily) at the barn. She’s had every type of dog you could imagine throughout her lifetime and recently rescued (and took care of) some baby raccoons from being hit on route 6A. Jorie loves animals more than people and will surely be your pets instant best friend! She’s responsible, punctual, a fantastic communicator and phenomenal with all furry friends! I promise, you will NOT regret choosing Jorie for all of your pet care needs. My dog, Rufie, ADORES her!

I no longer have a fenced yard but I have a great neighborhood for walking on leash and live close to great conservation areas that allow dogs. My home is clean, comfortable and pet friendly. I currently have a senior medium to small dog who is friendly and tollerant of other dogs and mostly ignores cats.

Please let me know if your animal has any specific needs likes or dislikes. I do have a senior medium size dog in my household and he is very tolerant but I would need to be cautious of any dogs who might be aggressive toward the old guy.
A typical day
I can cater our fun activities to individual dog or cat needs. We can do anything from an easy walk on leash or we can venture over to Kents point for a more stimulating hike. For the kitties it would be cat specific as well. Some like to be left in peace and quiet others like to play.
