Since I was a child I been very affectionate to all the pets that I was able to have at home. I actually started with cats at my house in La Paz and I always felt a great deal of satisfaction with them since they were very attached to me without much effort so I don't really get the story of cats being hard to get along with. It is at 15 that I was lucky to get my first dog (Kafu) who was rescued from the streets. My first instinct was to train him since I knew that that would make it better for him to be able to have a better time with me, my family and the neighborhood. It was a very rewarding experience since I had done it by myself and I also enjoyed the commitment we had. A unfortunate turn of events didn't allow him to last for much more than 3 years but all the experience really got under my skin. Since then I been able to participe as a volunteer from time to time in campaigns to rescue dogs and have them adopted in La Paz. This was been a really great ambient for me since I had to deal with different dogs that had very different attitudes but I was able to manage to get along with them and this is a great feeling that I like to experience with all of them. This is why I feel very confident about being able to care for any dog since I very much enjoy their presence and I feel that that the feeling is mutual with all the dogs I've come across.
