Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Jordyn and I have been taking care of animals (mostly cats and dogs), both personal and neighbors', for around 10 years. I volunteered for a cat adoption agency for two years and I've been a pet sitter for my neighbors for the last few years. I am currently volunteering at Greenhill in the Kennel. I have a boundless amount of energy that is highly compatible with energetic dogs. Most animals take a liking to me and I am often called a cat whisperer by family and friends. Animals are a big part of my life and I will always put their needs above my own. I was often told as a child that humans were put on this earth to protect and take care of beings smaller and weaker than ourselves and I have taken this philosophy to heart.

I will spend as much time walking, training, playing, and cuddling with your pet as they desire. I have some experience training my parents' dogs and am always researching better ways to interact with different breeds. I have had cats my entire life and know innately how to interact and play with them. I love pampering pets while remaining diligent with training, sometimes making the treats I use for training myself!

A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks and letting them sniff around to their heart's content. I especially like going on hikes with pups! Play time consists of chase, tug of war, fetch and any kind of light wrestling the dog enjoys. I will take multiple moments throughout the day to work on reinforcing training or teaching fun new tricks. And of course I love to cuddle and give dogs a informal massage of their leg muscles (my dogs love it when I do that!). With cats, I love to play with all sorts of toys that thrill the hunter inside of them. I love to get the cat running so laser pointers are a great tool. I will make sure they get all the scritches they desire and take the time to let the cats get comfortable with me.

I am currently in between jobs so I have an abundance of time to spend with your pet! The only responsibility I have is continuing volunteering with Greenhill where I will gain more animal-caring experience!
