Pet care experience
I've owned my own dog, a miniature pinscher/chihuahua mix named Prince for 7 years! Before owning him and while, I walked dogs and socialized cats for the Oak Park Animal Care League and shelters in Iowa. I have been studying Animal Science Pre-vet at Iowa State University for the past 2 years and have gained hands-on experience handling various kinds of livestock. Not only that, but I completed a rigorous course in Companion Animal Science. I can also house sit other animals as well. Including but not limited to: cats, birds, hamsters, rabbits, lizards, and more!

Jordyn is highly responsible and reliable with the animals. I would trust her anytime I needed a dog caregiver. She is very personable and fun loving! I believe that Jordyn is the best dog caregiver that is out there because she exceeds expectations and goes above and beyond what I have ever asked for!
I am so thankful that my family was able to have Jordyn dog sit at our house. Not only did she take good care of our pooch, but she was willing to go above and beyond with other things that needed tending to in the house. She provided our dog with daily exercise and tended to our other "pets", our precious plants! XD It was also great to receive picture updates from her to see how things were going!

I don't have any breed preferences, but it would serve me well to know the temperament of the dog.
A typical day
For walks your furry friend and I would walk around the neighborhood and/or to a local dog park if there is one in walking distance. I love being outdoors with dogs so if there's a safe outdoor space available, we would be playing outside. Something I love to do for my dog's mental stimulation is "hide and seek", where I have him sit/stay and then hide one of his favorite toys or treats, then have him go find it! This can be done inside or outside.
