Pet care experience
I've been a pet sitter for friends, family, and neighbors since I was fairly young. I've worked as a veterinary assistant in a small animal hospital for the last 3 summers and I have trained service dogs for the past two years. This means I can give medications/injections, know how to keep a close eye on medical conditions, and am easily able to contribute to puppy training.

It would be difficult to find someone better than Jordyn to watch your pet. She watched our dog, Buddy, numerous times and did an amazing job. We have also seen her in action as she has been training a dog for the 4 Paws for Ability organization, which further proves her competence. As a pre-veterinarian program student now, there is no doubt she will be a great veterinarian in the near future!
Jordyn watched my dog in college here and there and we love her! She always asked what my dogs needs were and made sure he had plenty of exercise and belly rubs. I always came home to such a happy dog which means the world to me :)
Jordyn has watched my cat for me while I have been on vacation before. Jordyn has fed my cat at the correct times and cleaned out his litter box. A plus that Jordyn has is that she sent me pictures of my cat every day so I knew he was okay. My cat has a bookbag and she was nice enough to take him on a couple walks. I would use Jordyn again and again to watch my cat again.

Let me know if your dog is reactive and/or aggressive towards other dogs or any types of people. And medications, allergies, food sensitivities, and pre-existing medical conditions. I would also love to know where your dog is at training-wise (ie. whether they know potentially useful commands such as "come" or "sit"), if they have any favorite scratch spots, places where they are sensitive/prefer not to be touched. When it comes to your baby, no information is too much!
A typical day
From my time as a service dog trainer, I am familiar with plenty of brain exercise activities to keep your pup busy! I love taking walks and have access to a few large parks near my apartment (as long as your pup can tolerate the cold or has proper outerwear if they can’t!).

I am currently in between graduation and finding a job, so when I’m not job hunting I have a good amount of free time. While I’m not currently able to accept in-home guests, I am more than able to come to you!
