I am currently in my first year of vet school at Colorado State University. Go rams! I have a Bachelor's degree in animal science and a minor in companion animal management. I have had dogs and cats in my household since before I was born! I took on the role of bathing, feeding, training, and much more from a young age. I worked full-time in a veterinary clinic for the past year as a veterinary assistant. I also have job shadowed and interned at many vet clinics (including the Humane Society, Dickerson Park Zoo, and Eagle Animal Hospital & Pet Resort) so I know how to properly handle animals, administer vaccinations and medications including insulin, ear medication, and oral medications. I have worked as a kennel technician and volunteered at multiple shelters throughout the years feeding, walking, playing with, caring for and cleaning up after dogs and cats. Even though we have not been active on Rover, my fiancé and I have pet sat for multiple friends throughout this past year and fallen in love with it.
