I grew up with a beautiful 80lb dog, and have always been keen to help family and friends with dogwalking and dogsitting. I joined Rover not just because I miss having a dog around, but because I know it can be tough finding the right help when life gets busy. I also understand that after lockdown, dogs probably aren’t used to being alone much now. Though I work Monday-Friday I have a flexible schedule with hybrid working and will be able to give your dog all the walks and belly rubs they want! As a dog lover, I am comfortable with all different sizes of dogs with experience ranging from puppies to senior dogs, to Corgis and St Bernards. Jordy took great care of Rupee for a week, kept me updated and I was really reassured that she was being really well looked after.
Jordy was wonderful! She took excellent care of our 6 month old puppy while we were out for the day. She was on time and incredibly friendly, and sent us a few updates with pictures throughout the day. She was so easy to work with and our puppy loved her. Thanks Jordy!
This was the first time that Toaty spent a day with Jordy, in preparation for the day we met up a week prior for a short walk in the park for a meet and greet. Toaty, then seemed to be quite happy to be dropped off with Jordy and had a lovely day while I was in work. I wasn't initially sure if he would settle ok, because when he has been in day care previously, there has always been at least one other dog for him to play with. Nevertheless, I had nothing to be concerned about. Jordy welcomed him into her home and by the time I reached work I received a photo of Toaty having a snooze on the floor. He was out for three walks in the day time and was lovely and relaxed in the evening. Thanks Jordy, your help and care was much appreciated.

I would like to know of any health concerns and if the dog has any anxiety (ie: noises, seperation). Also, if the dog is good with people and other dogs, and knowing what situations I should avoid on walks.

Availability
I work Monday-Friday but I work hybrid hours (mix if office and work from home) and I have the benefit of living around the corner from my office. Always keen to start the day with a walk or get my legs stretching at lunch and go out.
