Pet care experience
We've been dog-sitting for a friend, and absolutely love having a dog in our home. Since we're not at a place to get our own dog, we want to care for yours instead! Matthew has taken care of his family dog for the last 14 years, who he loved with all his heart. Matthew is working from home full-time. Jordana is completing her medical residency, but loves coming home to care for a dog while Matthew watches the dog throughout the day. We are the perfect team to make sure that your pup gets walked as frequently as you'd like, and there will always be someone home to cuddle, walk, watch, and feed your dog! We will do our absolute best to make sure your dog feels right at home with us.

We live in a dog-friendly apartment in a walkable area with lots of parks nearby. We keep small objects out of your pup's way, and make sure that they have enough comfortable spaces to make them feel comfortable in the apartment. If there is anything that you think should be kept out of your pup’s way, we’ll happily accommodate! There is a “pet spa” in our apartment building with a doggy bath built in. If your pup does reasonably well during bath time, we will happily give your dog a bath if you provide instructions, tips, and any supplies you use.

For boarding or doggy daycare, we are only able to accommodate dogs that don't shed at this time. We want to know what your routine is so that we can adapt our schedule to match yours to make your pup feel right at home. You know your dog best - please tell us what they are like at meal times, where they sleep, any restrictions you have (furniture, food), whether there are any behavioural concerns, or a tendency to eat/steal certain objects. We want to emulate your dog's normal home environment as much as possible, so please let us know if you have any needs we can accomodate!
A typical day
We can go on walks through the neighbourhood, including Sherwood park, and provide lots of fetch time at a nearby park if your dog is high-energy!

Availability
Jordana is an early bird and typically does the morning walk and feeding. Matthew is working from home full-time to keep your pup company during the day. We split up who does the afternoon walk (if your dog needs it), and Matthew, the night owl, makes sure that your pup gets outside for a walk or bathroom break before bed time.
