Pet care experience
I grew up with Rottweilers and have volunteered frequently at animal shelters. My husband and I currently have two German Shorthaired Pointers. I love all sizes and breeds! I’m a cancer biologist at the U of I with very flexible hours. I am home most evenings and weekends. With my schedule, I can accommodate short notice help! Zak is an Iowa City police officer, who works evenings. So together we can span the entire day for availability! We have a large fenced in yard as well as two friendly GSPs that would LOVE to make new friends! My car has a third row that lays down for ample space during rides too!

We have a large, fenced-in back yard and ample space in our home. We have a medium sized kennel that could be used if your pup requires crated at any time. Our pups have free range of our home and absolutely LOVE making friends.

A typical day
Our pups are high energy and LOVE to play, so a lot of time will be spent outside in our yard with plenty of toys. We also live in a wonderful neighborhood with tons of walking paths. Our GSPs are hunting pups, so we spend quite a bit of time out in the field for some off leash time with plenty of new smells!

Availability
I work during the day, while Zak works evenings. Together we are able to accommodate short notice and any hour bookings. Our schedules allow for one of us to be with your pup pretty much the entire time!
