Pet care experience
I have two labs of my own and am a volunteer and foster for a Belgian Malinois rescue. I have cared for all types of dogs. Myself and my husband both have experience with: puppies, seniors, low energy, high drive/high energy, fearful, and reactive dogs. Our dogs love to play with other dogs, but we understand that not all dogs do well with new friends. We have experience handling those dogs and giving them the attention and one-on-one time they need. I have experience in training our own dogs and foster dogs and caring for dogs with medical needs. In addition to fostering, I have taken care of numerous dogs and cats for friends and family.

Jordan's love for pets is unmatched. She is a great pet sitter and truly will take care of your pet as her own. She has a lot of experience as she and her husband have fostered many dogs while they were waiting to be adopted. In addition, she is very knowledgeable with training dogs and loves to teach her own two dogs fun skills or tricks. I cannot recommend Jordan enough to watch your pet. You cannot go wrong by choosing her.

Her passion for dogs (and others) is evident as soon as you start a conversation with her. Jordan has had dogs in her life since she was born and is very comfortable with all breeds. She is a member of the American Belgian Malinois Rescue and has worked as a volunteer transporting many dogs to their “fur-ever” home … as well as fostering them in her own home. (No small task!) She has has also raised, and trained, her own beautiful black Labradors (& they have become quite the gentlemen!). With a Masters degree in Speech & Language Pathology, Jordan brings to the table a keen insight on reading body language and displays a unique sensitivity and awareness to the needs of others (humans & animals alike!) One would be hard pressed to find someone who pays such great attention to detail.

We have a backyard with a 6 foot privacy fence. It is large enough for our two large dogs to run/play frisbee. Our two dogs are friendly and do well with other dogs, however, we have had foster dogs/visiting dogs who are not comfortable around other dogs or who require a slow introduction. I am happy to accommodate if this is the case for your dog(s). We have a large basement with access to the backyard for rainy-day play. We feed all dogs separately.

I require dogs to be up to date on vaccinations and on preventatives for the well-being of the other dogs in the house. Proof of this will be required. Though I have experience with reactive and fearful dogs, I would like to be informed of any behavioral concerns ahead of time.
A typical day
We love to integrate both physical exercise and mental stimulation into our daily routine with our dogs. This includes activities such as walks, fetch/frisbee, obedience training, nose work/find-it games, etc.

I am available for morning/afternoon boarding drop offs on weekdays (exceptions can be made depending on the day.) I am available for morning and afternoon drop offs on weekends.
