I have been a dog person my whole life. It was about ten years ago that I became more serious about dog training. I have turned many wild ones into relaxed, healthy dogs. Having a good sense of what your dog wants or needs is a talent of mine that comes from a true passion for our furry friends. It doesn't matter to me what size, or how loud their bark, I can handle all temperaments. Exercise is key in my methods of training (and the right treats of course!). Signing up here on Rover will help me pay for my schooling, I am studying for a degree in Exotic Animal Science (Moorpark College). Your business with me helps pave the way. Someone once told me, "Dogs are better people than people." It's true in a way. True enough to say they deserve to have a great time outdoors, and smell the world. That is what they want...and yes, they want treats too. I'm now returning to Rover after a few years and I'm excited to get started again, meet new people, and new dogs!

Another wonderful stay with Jordan! Maple love the gift Jordan have her and she is a little bit sad to be home and I think she miss her new BFF!!
Jordan has been great with Willow. She is a rescue and has issues getting used to a new person and as a Weimaraner can be strong willed and stubborn and irresistible all at the same time. Jordan has been really patient and taken time to really get to know her. Now she does full body wags at the sight of him.
Jordan took great care of Maple and they went for a walk and play in dog park! We got pictures throughout the stay. Maple literally does not want to come home with us. Maple cannot wait to see Jordan again and we will be back!

It's important for me to have an idea of the tempermemt of the dog(s). Any behaviour that may be problematic is nice to know so I can take the proper precautions. This is nothing to be shy about! I won't turn away in fear if you tell me they are a little bitey or jumpy. I've handled that before.
A typical day
Naturally, I go on hikes and to the park very often, and I'm familiar with a variety of dog friendly areas. I prioritize water breaks throughout the longer walks, but most walks are nearly thirty minutes. It's great to have a toy, and I inspire games of fetch if everyone seems on board with it.

I'm taking a few online class this summer. So I have plenty of time for dog care. I cannot imagine my online course getting in the way of schedule.
