I am an experienced dog owner who at one point had dreams of being a dog trainer. Because of this, I have practice with clicker training, disengage/engage, and am always looking to increase my knowledge. I live with my partner, Kayla, and 3 year old lab mix named Kobe who is full of energy and loves other dogs to keep him company. During your animal’s stay with me, I will only use positive reinforcement training. If you have any questions about dog behavior or have something you are working on with your dog-I am happy to help with mild behavioral issues and training needs, just be sure to let me know! Prior to your pet’s stay with me, I’ll ask to set up meet and greets with me, my partner, and pup Kobe beforehand to make sure everyone’s comfortable. I can walk or run with your dog, and play their favorite games with them. I will treat your dog like my own while I am watching and/or walking them. I can provide you with as many or as few updates as you'd like. Other details about me are: I have my Masters Degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs and am currently taking some time off work so I’ll be sure to give your pup lots of attention. I enjoy running, hiking, drinking tea, reading, and being outside. I can’t wait to love your pet like my own!

We booked Jordan for a house sitting to care for our two pups for several nights. Jordan was wonderful - she sent daily updates with photos, was very responsive, and patient with us during the booking process. During our meet and greet, we could tell she really cared for animals. Rex could be a little anxious but it seems Jordan was able to handle his personality well. He and Nova looked very happy in all the photos, and were happy and healthy when we got home. Also, the house was in the same condition as we had left it which was really nice after returning from a long trip.

I’d like to know how to best keep them safe based on their needs so please provide me with any and all information. Please bring your own food, treats, and poop bags. I’ll also need to know what’s required to leave them alone.

I’d like to know if your dog has any fears or triggers while I am walking them or sitting them and if they have any allergies. I’d like to know what your dog needs to be left alone for short periods of time.
A typical day
During the day I’ll walk your dog 4x a day and make sure they’re fully exercised. If they’re chill, there’s a perfect spot on the couch next to me. I can walk or run your dog. We live in a relatively quiet condo complex and neighborhood. There’s a park nearby and we also live close to Del Mar Dog Beach for adventures.

Availability
I can take your dog for several short walks and long walks throughout the day based on their energy levels. Your dog will need to be okay being left alone for at least 4 hours. There are times they may be alone if I go workout or go grab dinner so it’s important they’re okay being left for a short period of time.
