I love animals and grew up around many types of animals. I have a lot of experience house-sitting dogs, plants, chickens and cats. I miss having animals of my own, so both your dog and myself will love the attention. My roommate has a cat who is very shy and is almost always in her room with the door shut. I am happy to host your pet at my apartment, however in my experience I have always stayed at the pet owner's house per their request. I prefer this so that your dog is comfortable in your space and I can look after your house/plants while you are away too. But we can work something out. I'm also happy to have a conversation about doing yard work or house cleaning while you are away.
