My girlfriend and I have taken care our family's dogs for 9 years now. I have a golden retriever named Simon and Victoria has a bichon named Moose. They are a big part of our lives, but they live with our parents. In addition to our dogs, we watch our friends and familys dogs ranging in size from a rhodesian ridgeback to a maltese. We are currently full time students that live 5 minutes away from campus, so going home throughout the day is easy. Every morning your best friend will be walked and loved before we leave for class. Your dog will never be left home alone for more than 2-3 hours. They will get walked again midday and again before bed. Playtimes is important, so they will get that a few hours a day. On weekends they will be walked several times a day and taken out on outings, because what dog doesn't like that! Our place is a one floor beach house that has a grassy front yard and beach as our backyard! It is safe to say that your best friend will never have a dull day. We are both distance athletes that enjoy being active and going on adventures, so your best friend will always get plenty of exercise.
