Pet care experience
I volunteered at an animal shelter where I worked with all different dog breeds and personalities. I went through a training to learn how to approach dogs and how to handle and care for them. I also grew up with dogs in my family home, 2 Ori-Peis and 1 Bichon Frise / Shih Tzu mix.

Jordan is the first person I would trust with my dogs, I’m so glad I found her!! She takes excellent care of my dogs and will walk, feed, play with, and cuddle— she really treats them like her own. My dog loves her visits and I feel very comfortable leaving them in her care even when I’m out of town. Communication from her been stellar from the get-go. She comes when she says she will, she love on my dog, and she keep her safe. I highly recommend Jordan! I would definitely recommend her to watch/walk my pups.
Worked at the dog shelter together! Very passionate and caring about the dogs. Would make sure to schedule time each week to see the dogs and formed relationships with them. Went out of her way to care for the dogs and make sure they had a walk/home visit when needed. Would make a great rover employee!!

I would love to know how your dog reacts to other dogs/animals/people. I also find it important to understand what commands your dog knows or any you are currently working on. If your dogs likes going in water, playing fetch, cuddling. Any sensitive places they don’t enjoy petting or scratches
A typical day
I love to take dogs for walks outside. Finding new walking trails is always fun and I found that dog walking really encourages me to do that. I enjoy playing fetch with dogs and also enjoying a good cuddle as well. I would also be happy to take your pets to a park to run around if that’s what they like to do!

Availability
I work full time but I am on a hybrid schedule and I have very flexible work hours. I can take breaks throughout the day as often as I want. I work a 9/80 schedule so as long as I work 80 hours over a 9 day period I am good to go. This leaves me with a very flexible schedule for dog sitting and dog walking.
