Housesitting for a week... On the positive side Jordan left the house spotless and seemed to take great care of the dog, garden, pool, and household stuff like mail. On the downside, I had to press for updates even though I asked to receive them frequently. She did not ask questions or take notes during the walk-through. I left very detailed notes and a checklist with a request that she check items off, but that wasn't done. Without checklist, notes, or updates I couldn't really tell what all got done. Since I came back to a missing chicken and one injured, I have to wonder if the details were followed in their care. I asked her to communicate and coordinate with the pool person coming by, but she did not do that. Overall I guess I was disappointed by the lack of communication, and concerned that she may not be experienced enough for very complex or prolonged gigs. Or a good fit for people who want a lot of feedback about how things are going back home.
