Pet care experience
Currently booking June-August 2024. I grew up taking care of animals and have always had a fascination in animal behavior. I am a Master's level behavior analyst and have the foundational knowledge and skill set to assess your pet's behavior and respond accordingly. Understanding the reason behind a pet's behavior allows me patience and understanding when caring for them. I really just love meeting and spending time with all animals!

I am an extremely detail-oriented person so I am always closely observing and monitoring how a visiting pet is acclimating to a new person/in a new environment. I catch on to subtle cues and try to respond and provide accomodations to animals proactively to ensure their comfort. I will go to great lengths to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable with me, whether that means giving them all of the love and affection or keeping my distance and following their lead. I understand each pet is different, and I work hard to understand their preferences when interacting with them. I provide home-based care for my human clients so I make it a priority to be mindful as a guest in someone's home. I will always leave things the way I found them and have no problem cleaning up any mess a pet might make.

A typical day
I will spend as much time as they want cuddling or playing. I like to provide a variety of toys and enrichment activities. I am happy to take several walks per day and spend a lot of time outside. I enjoy leisurely walks so pets can sniff as well as high-paced, active walks for high energy dogs.

I work from home full time. I spend my days with my almost 4 year old dog, Winston who is great with other dogs, cats, children, etc. My flexible schedule makes it easy to adapt to your pet's routine.
