Pet care experience
I grew up taking care of three Maltese throughout my childhood and being the go-to neighbor girl for cat or dog sitting. My pet-sitting career started when I was in middle school and provided me with the experience and patience I have today with my cats and friends' dogs. I started housesitting for friends around Charleston in 2021 and have enjoyed playing with their small or large dogs. I also enjoy drop-in visits with their pets where I can take them outside for a walk or throw the ball. With a recent career change, I have more free time to help animals stay active and entertained and their owners sane and worry-free!

We have (2) large Anatolian shepherds and she has watched them multiple times over the past 3 years for long periods of time while we traveled. She is a trustworthy pet caregiver and I would recommend her to anyone regardless the type and size of dog you have! She can handle walking two large dogs at a time, always feeds them on time and has experience giving medicine to larger dogs! She's just great :)
Jordan is one of the most caring and dependable animal lovers and care-takers I know. I trust her 10,000% with my animals as she has watched our dogs and friends' dogs overnight for years. She demonstrates patience and understanding, as we had a dog with behavioral issues that she was able to calmly nurture and gain trust with. She is loving, kind, gives attention, and respects the home as she would her own. My pups love her and knowing what an amazing cat mother she is in her home life, she has a wide range of animal love to give and share. Jordan, is the best.
Jordan has done an outstanding job caring for my 3 dogs while I am out of town over the last 3 years. She has stayed with our dogs many times overnight, and our dogs love her! When we return home, our dogs are always comfortable and happy.

When I am off or working remotely, I will be at your home with your animal if you have booked house-sitting services. If it is a normal workday, my unavailability spans only 6 hours from 9 am -3 pm. I will prioritize returning to your home as soon as possible to care for your pet. I have morning, afternoon, and evening availability for check-ins and dog walking.

I am not the biggest fan of large, jumping dogs. If your dog is a jump-greeter, it is preferred I know this ahead of time and am aware of a command to tell the dog to stop.
A typical day
I love to play with excited, high-energy dogs! I enjoy playing fetch with them, running around in the yard, or going on a long walk (I certainly need my exercise, too). If your dog is more of a sunbathing type, I'm happy to catch some rays with them. With cats, I like to show patience so they will give me their full trust and eventually show affection. Some cats can sus me out as a cat person immediately!

Availability
I am a freelance event specialist who typically works 6 hr shifts between Tues-Thurs and normally works 6-8 hr shifts on Fri and Sat to produce beautiful weddings. I have morning and afternoon availability for check-ins and am happy to stay at your home to provide the best care. My work schedule fluctuates, but when I am booked for caretaking I prioritize your animals above my personal tasks.
