I grew up with dogs and even as a small child, I was the primary caregiver for the dogs. I bathed them, fed them, walked them, and most importantly played with them. I even gave one of my dogs a haircut. While I might not have been the best dog groomer, I was definitely the best BEST FRIEND a dog could have; and they were MINE. I can care for any animal when given the right instructions, but my personal favorite are dogs. I don't have a specific favorite breed as all breeds big and small have their own special personalities to offer. I love them all. Currently, I regularly care for my mother's dog when she is out of town. He is a fairly high maintenance dog, but no job is too big for me. She even has me water a few plants and check her mail while I am there. Once I even cared for a dog inside my home for a week while his owner was away. I didn't mind that 70lb cutie sitting on my couch with me. Just last week I cared for 3 dogs at once while the owners were on vacation for 4 days. All I had to do was go by their house and make sure the dogs had food and water, and of course I stayed to play with them a bit. Whatever your need, I know we can work something out.
