Pet care experience
I believe that my special skill is making people and animals feel happy, comfortable, and welcomed. I have experience with animals as I’ve worked for different companies that provided the same services, I currently work in pet sales and consulting in the Chesapeake area some days after work and I’ve learned a few things such as grooming and feeding techniques for puppies and for larger or senior animals. I have my own dog and he’s well taken care of and gets along well with other animals as well. Both dogs and cats… I am capable of providing whatever you made need as I pay attention to detail and instruction of care. My background is psychology and I’ve worked in hospice so I’m very hands on and communicative with my clients and I just really love dogs and dog people ! You get me and I get you 😅. This is my first time using rover and I must say Jordan was awesome ! She by far exceeded my expectations and made me feel so comfortable with leaving my dogs. We have 6 pit bull mixes and three are puppies and she did great with them ! She communicated with me the entire time, sent pictures, and thorough reports each time. I will book Jordan again and again and recommend her to everyone ! If I could I’d give her 10 stars !
Jordan is a very caring person. She always does what she can to help, always greets the puppies when she comes into work, and ensures everyone is looking and feeling their best, even down to her coworkers.
Jordan is a wonderful person with a kind soul she’s very well mannered and is a great animal caregiver. I’ve known her for over a year and she works well with animals. With her loving bubbly personality dogs gravitate towards her.
Jordan would be an awesome pet care giver. Jordan is a wonderful employee at my pet store. She loves all the puppies and kittens and gives much interaction with them. She loves to give individual attention to each pup as she comes in. Jordan is also a very personable and responsible lady. You and your furbaby would be luck to have Jordan as a pet caregiver.

I currently live in an apartment and will allow for the pet to free roam, unless otherwise advised by the pet owner. I have a park in my community that I utilize as well. I commit to walking my own dog, a 13yr old black lab named Cojo at least twice to three times a day. If it needs to be more than that, I can oblige the pet owners request. I feed first this in the morning and again at the same time in the evening, snacks (rawhides bones,pig ears, training treats, homemade treats) can be provided for mid day consumption. Water is placed in a low and easy assessable area. Grooming needs may be performed if requested by pet owner. For example bath, teeth brushing, nails trimmed, ears cleaned, etc. If you provided specifics for your dog and bring bedding toys etc for their comfort and enjoyment, I’d be happy to have them as a house guest 😌☺️

If your dog has a special need such as medication management or physical therapy or anything else unique for his or her care, please don’t forget to note these things during our meet and greet session and I will make sure to follow your clear instruction.
A typical day
For starters, we’ll go on long walks if the weather permits. If your pup likes to play fetch or enjoys certain activities, I’d be happy to help fulfill his or her daily playtime. Sometimes we’ll practice our commands and even learn new tricks with reward based training. My favorite activity with my dog is baking natural and organic treats.. maybe your pup will like that that as well.

Availability
At this time, I would be willing to accommodate you and your pet, primarily during the Week days, long getaway weekends or vacays. I work for two companies but the advantage is that I work from home. Right now, I work from home with one day in office a week which is Wednesday. That’s being said, that would allow for you, the pet owner, to have those longer getaways or vacations, if you want to leave a day early or come in a day late. Or even take the whole week etc. This schedule is flexible and can be changed to accommodate you and your pet.
