"Dogs aren't our whole life, but they make our lives whole." I grew up loving and caring for my family's dogs because my siblings and I were never allowed to have one. When I moved to Denver 3 years ago with my older brother he had just rescued a beautiful dog. Prior to this we had never had a dog of our own, so it was a great chance to prove to ourselves we can be great dog owners. To this day I do not regret it because it made me a better person and now my brother and I have a great companion. Also, my current living situation forbids me from having dogs on the premises.
