To achieve this, I try to mimic the routine that the client tends to have with their pets as closely as possible. This means following their usual feeding and walking schedule and making sure that their favorite toys and blankets are easily accessible. I also make sure to give the pets plenty of attention, playtime, and exercise, as well as providing them with any necessary medications or special care they may require. I understand that pets can feel anxious or stressed when their owners are away, so I try to create a calm and soothing environment by keeping their usual routine intact. Additionally, I always make sure to keep the home clean and tidy, so that both the pets and their owners feel comfortable when they return. Overall, I strive to provide the best possible care for the pets I look after, while also ensuring that the client's home is well-cared for and secure.

Please communicate their personality and behaviors when meeting strangers, interacting with other dogs, and, if a rescue animal, behaviors I need to be mindful of while interacting to avoid triggering them. I have a preference for medium to larger-sizes dogs such as labs, puddles, retrievers, greyhounds, Matisse, etc. but am loving to all breeds. At heart I’m a cat person…I haven’t met a car I didn’t like!
A typical day
Snuggles and lots of play time I key to building trust and a loving relationship with animals. Exercise is important too; I prioritize plenty of movement: walks, active backyard time, and toy time. This helps them get out their pent up energy while having for. Lastly before leaving, snuggles!

Availability
As someone who works full-time, my daily and weekly routine can be quite busy, but I always make sure to carve out time for pet care. Despite having a regular work schedule, I have flexibility in the evenings which allows me to provide care for pets after work. I also make myself fully available on the weekends and can even offer overnights if needed. I understand that pets require attention and care every day, so I always make sure to prioritize their needs in my schedule. While my work schedule can be demanding at times, my love for pets motivates me to make time for them and provide them with the best care possible.
