Pet care experience
Hello, my name is Jordan Carr and I am 23 years old. I am a experienced pet sitter to all types of animals. I am very loving and caring and I love to play and go on long walks. I have 10 years of experience with dogs. I have my own girl right now. Her name is zeta and she is 2 years old and she is a German Shepard mix. I have experience with all dogs shapes and sizes. From French mastiffs to tiny teacup yorkies. I have experience training so I can also help with your pups! I recently moved to Tennessee from Chicago where I worked at a dog daycare facility. I am currently a stay at home mom to my 4 month old daughter. Hope to hear from you soon!

Jordan is such a loving and caring person. She always puts the needs of animals above her own and as a pet owner herself would always make sure her animals are safe, happy and could always have anything they ever need.

Jordan was very responsive to texts / communications about the stay. Although I think she took good care of our dog while in her care, I would not recommend or book with her again. A few reasons, I noticed she kept raising rates after the initial booking (started at $38 then $48 and now up to $60 for day care), which seemed strange, but I brushed it off since I was already locked into the first booking. I requested an additional day, which instead of modifing the existing to add the day, she sent a new request for $90. I sent a note back asking if that was the day care rate and she sent a new one for $50 a day (my other days were at $38 rate). Most dog care care in the area averages around $25-38. I ignored the price increase because it was the holidays and thankful she could help accommodate a last minute request. The biggest issue I had was the profile I feel was incorrect stating it was non smoking home when I could clearly smell cigarette smoke. When I returned to the car my husband even mentioned how bad I smelled after only being in the apartment for a couple minutes. I did not want to leave our dog there, but had no choice because we already had plans we couldn’t cancel. We had to cancel the remainder of the days because we don’t want our dog in a smoke environment and we were also staying in a non smoking rental home and didn’t want to be charged if we brought the dog back smelling of smoke to the non smoking rental. Besides that the apartment appeared very messy and I cringed to see the dog sit/roll on the floor. Our dog smelled pretty bad when we picked him up and I later texted her about the apartment smelling of smoke which she said her roommate burned sage that day. Having burned sage before, I know what that smells like and he smelled of cigarettes in my opinion. I was able to work with Rover support to cancel and rebook with another non smoking owner. Luckily, because she had set up a separate booking for the extra day and had “flexible” cancellation, I wasn’t charged. Now I see she’s changed it to strict. I would be very weary booking with this sitter.
