Greetings! I'm Jordan and my wife is Emily. We have been using Rover for about a year to help schedule sitters for our two dogs, Bailey and Roark, but have recently started to care for others' pets in our home. Between our two dogs, we have experienced just about every curve ball that dog ownership has thrown at us and by entrusting us to watch your dog, we will provide the same love and care that we provide for ours. My wife and I both work full time, but I make it home at lunch during the week. While under our care, your dog will be treated to plenty of long walks, play time, and cuddling. We live in a house in Decatur that has a great big fenced backyard. We'd love to take great care of your dog and provide you peace of mind while you are away! About staying with us: -We only take ONE owner's dog/dogs at a time (no more than 2 dogs accepted from same owner). This allows us to give our sole attention to your dog. -Bailey is a seven-year-old rescue dog. She is a 35 pound lab/spaniel mix. She has a very introverted personality, but after a meet and greet, she opens up to other dogs. -Roark is a four-year-old golden retriever. He weighs about 85 pounds. Roark has a very lovable dopey personality. He always is aiming to please. Despite his large size, Roark always plays the role of the beta. -We have a large fenced-in yard for plenty of exercise and playtime with Bailey and Roark! We do not leave the dogs outside while we are gone, and we do not require your dog to be crated while we are out of the house (unless of course this is your preference). -We are happy to send photos of your dog while you are away. -We are willing to host all sizes, ages, and dog breeds!
