Pets have been in my house my entire life. I know how to handle them. They have largely been confined to cats but dogs have been a staple of my neighborhood for just as long. My family's oldest friends have had dogs to my cats and it often fell to me to care form them while they were away. Walking their several generations of dogs was a great pleasure and I realize what I am missing being a cat owner. Dogs are great and they way my neighbor's dogs would always great me so happily, always brought a smile to my face. I had to responsible though, clean up messes and make sure their house was safe. It is a big job with great responsibility.
