Furbaby mom of 3 - committed to special care and lots of snuggles with your pets! I’ve been house and dog sitting for 10 years, and recently worked at two different pet boarding facilities in Atlanta gaining experience on different breeds, medication and special care, rules and regulations, and cleanliness. I have two Shih Tzus and our home is completely pet friendly. Although my dogs are great at daycare, they much prefer to chill at home and take walks around town or on the Beltline! I want to offer more of a specialized experience for dogs similar to mine who deal with separation anxiety and special needs. I also am trained in dog bathing, nail trimming and dremmeling, and pet bathing. Unique Features: - Live close to Marta for access for those without vehicles that want to carry a pet. - Live close to airport for easy access (and can do pick ups and delivery if needed, as well as Cargo) - Live close to the Beltline for fun walks - Fenced In back yard for secure playtime. - Familiar with Kennel training and use for those dogs who would like to keep things more routine like at home. - Video Editor and tech savvy for anything extra you would like, along with pet portraits. - Low bed for easy access for snugglers. - Familiar with vet services in the area. - Trained in temperament testing - Trained to step in if needed and sense improper play, anxious moods, snappy dogs, dogs that need to be carried, dogs that need to stay on leash or cones for special needs, and more. I am highly educated - but recently chose to take a break from my professional job to stay at home and work on creative ventures. This gave me the opportunity to work at pet boarding/kennels and focus on pet care so that I can pursue something that I’m passionate about, and that works with my schedule. And I’m not gonna lie, it’s awesome when you job can sometimes include a nap and snuggle with a pup!

Jonna damaged my property by backing into my mailbox and refused to pay the cost to fix the damage. She also lost my key. First, she told me she would bring me my key and then said she left it under a trash can. She attributed her misrepresentation of the facts to "pregnancy brain." I had to change my locks because the key could not be located. She refused to pay the costs associated with the locksmith. Rover will not cover the damages done via her vehicle. One overnight stay with her services has now cost me 10x her nightly rate to repair her damages. Highly unrecommended!
Jonna is an outstanding pup-mom and animal lover. She cares for 2 pups of her own & has never met a dog she didn’t like. She cared for our two basset hounds several times & they loved her! She did everything from feeding to walking to giving medicine. Her pups are a lot smaller than the bassets but she adapted well but didn’t have any trouble. I highly recommend her!

Since I’ve worked at two different pet boarding places, I know there are tons of questions that owners get asked, and as valuable as this information is, no dog is a like. I usually let the owner tell me what a typical day is like for their pup, and if they need help, I can provide a typical schedule for my family. Some helpful things to know is if your dog is a first timer or has special needs. We can also do a phone call if you are like me and really like to talk through your unique pups personality. I prefer smaller dogs if multiple dogs are involved, and would like to have a routine daycare group of about 6 dogs if anyone is interested. For bigger dogs , 25lbs or more, I believe they will need solo time to get the attentive care they need at my small House, unless they are siblings or dogs that have played with each other on multiple occasions.
A typical day
I play ultimate frisbee for any frisbee lovers. Walks around the neighborhood or Beltline are always available. If you dog enjoys personal play time (I’ve seen some dogs who really just aren’t good at sharing, and that’s ok, because so are people) I can do private play sessions based on what your dog prefers. Every dog is unique, so I would like to cater to th at, but also challenge your dog in areas of play and environment should you have that desire.
