**Apologies to anyone trying to reach me. My current services are unavailable** I have grown up with dogs since I can remember. I'm 28, graduate from University of Alabama. My husband and I have two rescues, Sammy and Arya, a border collie mix and an Australian shepherd mix. I believe dogs are family members, and they deserve quality care! I have over 4 years of experience working as a veterinary assistant. I am comfortable with administering insulin, oral medications, eye medications, and even subcutaneous fluids. I know medication names and what their used for as well, and know their side effects (i.e. discontinue NSAIDs like Rimadyl or Metacam if patient vomits, has diarrhea or doesn't eat; or steroids cause an increase in appetite, water consumption and urination) I can work with puppies to geriatric dogs with special needs. I love sending pictures to owners, because when I'm away from my dogs, all I want to see is them!

Joni was very easy to communicate while booking her and while we were away. My dog warmed up to her quickly and I got several photos each drop in. I would definitely book again.

No overtly aggressive dogs please. If your dog is wary of me, I'd recommend me coming by more than once before the visit. Most of the time, skittish dogs are fine once the owners are not around or they will like me once I feed them!
