Pet care experience
10 years ago I fell in love with dogs after growing up scared of them. I own two of my own, one small, one giant and they are center of my world. Since then, and even a few years before, I have sat for dogs at my own home extensively, sat for dogs in other people's homes and walked dogs for friends and family. I have done all of the above both professionally and socially. I have some experience with dog training as well, but not formally. It is something I am pursuing. My dogs are the center of my world and your dog(s) will be as well.

Jonathan took the time to meet the dogs and go for a walk with us the day before the service. He arrived on time, was good with communication and sent pics.
Jonathan is great with my dog, Murray, who is a very nervous 60 lb Shepherd mix. He is one of the few people, especially men, who can walk Murray and take him to the park. Highly recommended.
Jonathan took care of our dog and 2 cats for us while we were away and did such an amazing job. He clearly has such live for this animals and cared for them like he was their own.Even the cats who usually hide from every new person warmed to him fast. He in fact still comes by and walks our dog for us now. Bruce (our Shepard) practically asks for him now.

Having used rover as both a dog owner and as a care provider in the past, in understand the need for over communication. In my ideal situation, I would meet with you and your pets before our booking and make sure everyone is comfortable with each other and the situation. While your pets are under may care, whether it is just for a walk, or for an over night stay, you can expect regular updates with photos. I know I want the same when separated from my pets. Video calls are also possible when requested and scheduled. If an overnight sitting is booked, I have family to look after mine, so no need to worry.

Please let me know ahead of time if there are any special circumstances I need to know of or anything particular you like your dog to do. Or perhaps some things you have never had the time to do with your dog. My first dog guest had never been swimming, I had no idea, and ended up being a natural swimmer who impressed everyone at a local beach. A great surprise for me and for the owners!
A typical day
There are several great parks locally which I love to take dogs to explore. And I love to mix it up. Walking the neighborhood is both fun and important, but so is a trip to the beach or something off the beaten path!
