Summit had a great time with Jon! Jon was kind enough to send pictures and updates a couple times a day. We picked him up and he looked happy and well cared for.

Jonathan was an excellent pet-sitter for our two dachshunds, Duncan and Dexter. He took the time to have us over for a meet-and-greet prior to sitting them for a weekend, which was great not just for the dogs but also for their anxious owners! Jon was very relaxed and took his time with introducing himself to the dogs. It was immediately clear to us that he's a thoughtful and caring person with a real compassion for our 4-legged family members. Both dogs can sometimes balk when approached by strangers, but this wasn't the case with Jon. He got some good scratches in fairly quickly after they arrived and then let them wander as they sniffed the entirety of his house. Jon's place was open, sunny, and included a great rear area where the dogs could patrol and get some fresh air without being in danger of escaping. Jon listened to our concerns regarding a gap under the front fence and worked with us to barricade off that area for their safety. He also took note of their somewhat eccentric personalities and behaviors, their typical feeding and walking schedule, and their penchant for snoozing in the sun. Jon worked with us to choose the best pick-up and drop-off schedule for all involved, and he sent regular text updates and pictures during the weekend. The dogs looked like they settled into his home like it was their personal vacation resort. We were really pleased with their care and look forward to booking Jon again for future trips out of town.
