Pet care experience
I have about 10 years of experience in dog sitting, as well as 1 year of Vet Tech experience. My wife and I love dogs and will make sure that your pup is well taken care of. Our black lab, Jake, is very social and outgoing, and loves playing with other dogs (especially puppies). We live close to two parks, so there are lots of room for outdoor activities for your furry friend. I can also help with training for basic commands such as sit, stay, fetch, and heel. I plan on spending as much time as possible with your dog. We usually take go out 3-4 times a day to go potty. We also go to the park to play fetch with the frisbee, or play with the soccer ball, etc. We also enjoy playing with indoor toys in the house, like tug of war or hide and seek. I also take pictures/video of your dog to send to you so you can feel at ease knowing your pup is having a great time. My wife, Selina, works part-time and comes home everyday at 11:30 am. She loves hanging out with the dogs, taking them on walks, and playing fetch with them. Why I love dog sitting I have always loved dogs. Growing up, we have had a toy Poodle, a Yorkie, a Shih Tsu, and a Morkie (Maltese and yorkie mix). September 2013, my wife and I got a black Lab named Jake. He is a friendly dog who enjoys playing outside, especially in the water! He is a great retriever and is a fast learner. We have absolutely loved watching him grow and love the companionship he gives to us. We love getting to know new dog personalities and love for Jake to get to meet lots of friends. Jake passed away unexpectedly due to a heart condition in Sept 2021 and it was very hard on our family. We decided to keep doing Rover since we love taking care of dogs. My experience administering medication Yes, I have worked in a veterinarian's office before and I am very comfortable with treating animals. Drop-Off & Pick-Up Earliest drop-off time is 8 AM, and latest pick-up time is 8 PM. Rates are per day. For example, dropping off at 8am on Monday and then picking up on Tuesday at 7pm will count as 2 days. Late fees may be charged if you are late to pick-up.

Great experience. Jonathan and his wife were really friendly and were great with our dog. They sent us pictures and videos every day.
Their profile said that they have a backyard and a dog to play with, which both turned out not to be true. Regardless, they took great care of our dog and treated her as their own!
My puppy gets excited every time he sees their apartment cause he always has so much fun here!

We are open to all types of breeds! Our Jake is a black lab who is very friendly. If there is anything you can think of to make your dog's stay with us more enjoyable, please let me know. Special treats, how many meals a day, and around what times they prefer eating. I would also like to know how well they do on leashes/car rides (for going hiking up the canyon).
A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks There is a park about a half mile north of our house. It has a nice open fields with plenty of room to run around. Our dog loves it! Also, with your permission, we would also be able to go up the canyon to play or go on a hike in the summers. Your dog's sleeping arrangement Our dog sleeps with us, but he also has his crate. We are fine with letting your dog sleep wherever it is most comfortable. If your dog is used to sleeping in his/her crate, please make sure to bring it. Time I'll spend with your dog I plan on spending as much time as possible with your dog. We usually take go out 3-4 times a day to go potty. We also go to the park to play fetch with the frisbee, or play with the soccer ball, etc. We also enjoy playing with indoor toys in the house, like tug of war or hide and seek.
