Pet care experience
I have 14+ years experience taking care of my own pets and others together. I also currently work for Prance Around in Laurel as a trainer, walker, and sitter. It is important to build trust, respect, and repoire with the animals (particularly dogs/cats as they are within my expertise) so that they will be able to see that you are the proper leader/caretaker for them. I have trained puppies and kittens all the way up to senior dogs and cats. Although I'm an animal enthusiast, I take my passion as a trainer and caretaker very seriously.

I’ve seen Jon raise his golden retriever pup from 8 weeks to a year now. He trained her early and taught her how to sit, stay, heel, leave it, down, give paw, spin, and much more! If you leave pizza in front of the dog, leave the room for a few minutes then come back, the pizza is there untouched! That’s an impressive feat for a human nevertheless a dog. He’s also a cat daddy of 2 and loves them dearly. And when Jon is driving and passes other people walking their pets he squeals “Buddies!!” If I’ve ever seen an animal lover, he is most definitely one! 😹
Jonathan has an amazing way with animals! My pets are normally very standoff-ish with strangers and often bark when meeting someone new. Thankfully, my pets took a quick liking to Jonathan immediately and were ready to listen to his commands and go for a walk. In my experience Jonathan has been very prompt with the scheduled times and has often exceeded the services that we have paid for. Needless to say, my wife and I have definitely found our go to pet sitter/walker! Would highly recommend 👌🏽

Whether they need someone to just feed them and provide water, provide any sort of special medication for them, give them playtime, I am there to provide that. A typical day
Depending on the animal but for dog I like to play fetch with a ball or Frisbee. I also like taking them out to parks and lakes so they also get that good exercise in if they need it. For cats I use a laser pointer or one of the wand mouse toys where they hit it and chase after it.

Availability
I am constantly caring for either my own pets or client animals. I have 1 dog and 2 cats. I feed and walk my dog twice a day and fit in either a fetch exercise on the field near me or a dog park which I go to regularly. My cats are indoor/outdoor and get fed twice daily and are sweethearts as well. This does not include the services I do for clients I work for at Prance Around. I am available Monday-Friday 9-5 .
